Reasons for Male Pattern Baldness
The reasons for MPB are attributed to the male hormone testosterone circulating in your body and also the genetic sensitivity to that hormones
In fact, DHT is a breakdown of the hormone testosterone Dihydrotestosterone that causes the hair cells to stop producing hair.
At any time after the age of fifteen, DHT can turn on the genetic switch that causes hair loss to start.The hair on the back and sides of the head, however, is immune to the effects of DHT. It is also usually thicker, stronger and more densely packed hair.
When the hair from this area (known as the donor area) is removed to a balding or thinning area it retains its own genetic characteristics and will grow naturally, as it did in its original location, for life.
